ABOUT “(Nongpakhrang)”
Nong Pa Khrang Subdistrict Municipality, in Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, is a suburban area that has accommodated the horizontal expansion of Chiang Mai city over the past several decades. In 2006, it was upgraded to the status of a subdistrict municipality, which marked the beginning of serious urban development in all aspects.
This development has been under the vision of its leadership, which emphasizes urban development and the quality of life for its citizens through the policy: “Prosperous Citizens, Stable Nong Pa Khrang.” Development strategies have been established in various areas, such as infrastructure, the economy, tourism, and the management of natural resources and the environment.

Growing Economy: It hosts major sources of employment, such as department stores (Makro, Big C Extra, Index Living Mall) and Payap University, leading to the construction of numerous residential buildings and dormitories. It also has a wide variety of commercial businesses.
Personnel and Service Readiness: The municipality has capable and service-ready personnel, as well as community leaders and collaborative networks that work together for local development.
Good Governance: It operates on the principles of good governance, aiming for organizational excellence. Digital technology is integrated into its management to ensure transparency and speed.
