Hua Thale Subdistrict Municipality was elevated from the Subdistrict Administrative Organization to a Subdistrict Municipality. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Interior on August 20, 2004, by virtue of Section 42 of the Subdistrict Council and Subdistrict Administrative Organization Act B.E. 2537, which was amended by the Subdistrict Council and Subdistrict Administrative Organization Act (No.5) 2003 and Section 7 of the Municipality Act, B.E. 2496, Minister of the Interior Therefore, the Subdistrict Administrative Organization was established as a Subdistrict Municipality with boundaries according to the district description and map. To be removed from the status of being a sub-district administrative organization.
