North: Bordering the Gulf of Thailand, Ban Peuk Subdistrict, Huai Kapi Subdistrict, and Samaed Subdistrict

Saensuk Municipality is a coastal city located on the eastern seaboard of Thailand. It experiences a tropical monsoon climate, with the terrain sloping from the east towards the western and northern coasts. The coastal area is both a source of aquaculture and a major tourist destination.

Due to the fact that Burapa University is located in Saensuk city and it is center of education of the Eastern of Thailand, there are students from the other areas lives in the city.
Saensuk City have a goal to become the “City of Health” where residents in the city must have better life by bringing technologies to help improve quality of life

Sanseuk Municipality cooperates with shops and restaurants in area to reduce and stop food packaging which made from foam. We start from shops along Bangsaen beach. Nowadays we have shops and restaurants which stop using food packaging made from foam by 99%.

We measures the quality of sea water by using the Marine Water Quality Index “MWQI” developed by Pollution Control Department of Thailand to be an equipment to evaluate the sea water quality. We then communicate with the people if the sea water quality in the area is good enough to swim.
The higher the MWQI value, the better sea water quality. MWQI should not be lower than 50.

The number of the runners kept increasing, although the last 2 years, it was little decreased due to COVID-19 situation. Even though, it was expected to be bad but the number of the Marathon runner was still very close to the number before COVID-19.
