ABOUT “Mae Pak”
Mae Pak Subdistrict is located in Wang Chin District, Phrae Province, covering a total area of 58 square kilometers (or 47,608 rai) and divided into 10 villages. The subdistrict’s urban development principle is to utilize digital technology and modern innovation to develop the area into a Smart City. Technology is applied to manage various resources, such as waste management, water management, transportation systems, and public services, with the goal of creating a sustainable city that provides a high quality of life for its residents.

Mae Pak: Strong and resilient, with beautiful tourist attractions, preserving Lanna traditions, fostering progressive communities, moving toward a smart city.
CITY GOALS
1.To develop a spatial database system (City Data Platform) and an operational system for urban data management, enabling systematic management of databases to improve accessibility and usability, ultimately supporting the development of a smart city in accordance with local context.
2.To establish collaborative mechanisms among the government, private sector, and citizens, including mechanisms for developing public spaces to facilitate communication, awareness, and concrete actions by the Mae Pak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, enhancing the capacity for systematic public service delivery (City Service Platform).
3.To develop models, guidelines, principles, and methods for creating an open-system development process, improving the efficiency of data management, enhancing service delivery, and fostering participatory capacity, thereby elevating local public services and serving as a development model that other localities in Thailand can adopt.

Mae Pak City is distinguished for preserving cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes, such as maintaining Lanna traditions and developing cultural tourism. The city also offers scenic natural attractions and leverages technology to enhance tourist sites and increase tourism value by creating accessible data through digital platforms. This approach makes Mae Pak suitable for investment in tourism and smart agriculture.
