ABOUT “SATUN“
Satun Province is the southernmost province of Thailand. Andaman side It has a territory adjacent to Malaysia. It is 973 kilometers from Bangkok, divided into 7 districts, with a population of 324,058 people, most of the population is Muslim 76.50%, Buddhism 22.98%, and other religions 0.52%. Satun Province is a unique multicultural city. Major occupations are agriculture and fishery. The main economic crops are rubber, oil palm and fruit trees. The gross provincial product value in 2019 is 30,955 million baht or 0.2% of the country’s gross domestic product.
