ABOUT “Khelang Nakhon”
Khelang Nakhon City Municipality is located in the northern part of Thailand. The general area is a plateau structured around hills, with some areas being lowlands on the banks of the Wang River. It is located 634 kilometers from Bangkok by railway and 604 kilometers by Phahonyothin Road. Khelang Nakhon City Municipality is within the Mueang Lampang District, and has a total area of 195.49 square kilometers. The municipality consists of four sub-districts: Pong Saen Thong, Chomphu, Phrabat, and Kluai Phae.

CITY GOALS
1. To fix and improve short and long term infrastructure issues.
2. To improve the quality of people in the community.
3. To have everyone in the community have equity of access to basic services and have their input in solving community and local problems.

5. To preserve arts, culture, tradition, local wisdom, and keep the area culturally on track.
6. To restore natural resources and the environment, and promote our status as a center for culture, environment, tourism, and education through the delivery of digital technology and innovation to address environmental, socio-economic, and public issues in a way that is appropriate and standard. This involved applying modern technology and innovation to create a broader database and provide digital skills knowledge for people.

1. Utilize new technology and innovations to enhance and apply infrastructure, quality of life, and the environment to standardize and cover the components.
2. Enhance the people’s quality of life for all ages in the community to be technologically prepared and capable of acquiring learning and keeping up with technology and Smart City concepts.
3. Utilize technology and innovation within the cities context that meets such needs of the local people.
4. To advocate the enhancement of Lampang province’s competitiveness.
5. To maximize Khelang Nakhon City Municipality people live in a safe, livable city that has a good quality of life and happiness.
6. Put into place a platform for cooperation for the government, market sector and people to share space to have conversations, use communication site/channel, and embrace awareness and activities about the municipality supply of a systemic public service.
