Moving Towards a Quality Urban Social Life
CITY GOALS
The development of the city under the Smart City framework for Mae Hong Son Municipality has the primary goal of improving the quality of life for its residents. This is aligned with the vision of a high-quality urban social life, with a total of 6 sub-projects. Each project has its own operational framework, aiming to respond to the specific goals and objectives of each project. These projects are as follows:
Sub-project 6: Designing a system to enhance tourism services within the Mae Hong Son Municipality area. This involves setting up and installing various wireless internet management devices, such as touchscreen public information kiosks, wireless access points, and internet routing devices. These technologies will allow for seamless service connections across locations and can be managed from a central control system. Additionally, the project includes integrating social platforms, such as the Municipality’s Line Official Account.
Sub-project 1: Designing a system to improve the efficiency of security systems to protect the lives and property of residents and tourists within the Mae Hong Son Municipality area.
Sub-project 2: Designing a system to improve the efficiency of municipal management. The goal of this project is to apply modern information technology to office operations, creating a system that is easy to use and not complicated. Various tools will be used to assist staff, and a security system will be installed to prevent the falsification of electronic document management systems (E-document).
Sub-project 3: Designing a system to improve the security of schools under Mae Hong Son Municipality. This involves designing and installing facial recognition equipment to record the entry and exit times at the 4 schools managed by the municipality.
Sub-project 4: Designing a system to protect the environment within the Mae Hong Son Municipality area.
Sub-project 5: Designing a mini-application on the Line Official Account to improve services for residents and tourists. The goal is to develop a mini-application on Line to support around 5,000-7,000 residents in the municipality, as well as tourists visiting the area. The app will create a menu that connects residents and tourists to services and information in Mae Hong Son Municipality.

Additionally, the city is developing infrastructure that connects both internally and externally through digital technologies, making it a city with competitive potential and the ability to grow in the digital age
